Our minds our powerful. The thoughts we think help to define our perspective and thus our reality.
This happens, in part, because our minds create vibrations from thoughts. These vibrations activate physiological responses in our bodies.
For example, if we are ruminating on a situation, caught in patterns of consternation, we activate the stress response and any other emotion we are thinking about. We often perpetuate emotions even long after the initial situation is over. Notice if while you are thinking about something that made you angry ... if you start to feel angry.
With people like Bruce Lipton leading the way on really revealing how our beliefs affect our bodies and our lives, it becomes even more apparent how influential our thoughts are in creating our reality.
And while I don't think we can think our way to happiness (we need to feel the feels and take action too), I do believe our thoughts, our sacred language and that intimate conversation we have with ourselves, is part of it. If you are bitching all the way to trying to manifest your dreams ... well ... let's just say it may not be as affective as you showing up with a positive mindset and weaving high vibes into your life through the power of your mind.
Take a moment to reflect, is your mind your ally or your enemy?
Do your thoughts discourage or empower you?
These are important reflections of your reality.
